10th Annual K.A.V.A. Talks Heels 2 Heal 1 Mile Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness Month
K.A.V.A. stands for Knowledge Above Violence Always and K.A.V.A. Talks is our men’s advocacy and education group whose focus is on eliminating violent attitudes and behaviors both internally and externally. K.A.V.A. Talks hosts 2 annual walks, our April walk in St. George is for Sexual Assault Awareness and October in Salt Lake City is for Domestic Violence. Both events serve to raise awareness and funds to support our social services programming that directly supports victims and survivors of all types of violence.
We invite all in the community who want to show their support and make a difference to join us at our Heels 2 Heal walks. Whether in heels or not, your presence and participation means another opportunity for someone to learn, someone to connect, and someone to heal. Bring your families and pets, walk alone or walk with your friends or as an organization. It’s going to take each and every one of us to eliminate the violence in our community, so let’s start today!
