K.A.V.A. Talks 9th Annual Heels 2 Heal 1 Mile Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

K.A.V.A. stands for Knowledge Above Violence Always and is a group by and for Pacific Men to find support. K.A.V.A. Talks provides a safe space for men to be vulnerable and educated in order to make better decisions for themselves that will ultimately benefit all those around them. This is a necessary space for our men who aren't always afforded the opportunity to be vulnerable and receive advice and encouragement.

October is designated as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Our annual walk in heels is a demonstration of support and solidarity of all those who have been victims and survivors of Sexual Assault. We’re proud to co-present this even with our friends at Health Choice Utah.

Community members of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to show up and show out! Wear purple and walk in remembrance of those we’ve lost to Domestic Violence or in solidarity with those who are still experiencing this traumatic societal issue that plagues all communities. We’ll have social service organizations with various services and resources available on-site. So come learn! Come meet new people and get involved! It’s going to take all of us to help eliminate violence. Get registered!

Take a stand!
